Most local libraries have an online feature on their site where you can ask them to add books to their collection. My library (where I do a lot of my novel writing) calls this feature "Suggest a Purchase."
You can see a screen capture of their form in this post. Your library may call it something else, but the description will be similar.
You can find the ISBN# for any of my paperbacks on each book's Amazon page. My library asks for this number and I'm guessing most other libraries do. If you'd like to go to my Amazon Author Page where all of my books are listed, please click HERE. The ISBN number is where all of the book's info (page count, etc.) is clustered.
